TVK MLA says he entered politics to 'eradicate Sanatana', BJP says 'Condemnable'

TVK MLA VMS Mustafa sparked a row by saying he entered politics to "eradicate Sanatana". "We too subscribe to ideals of Periyar and BR Ambedkar," he stated. BJP leader Narayanan Thirupathy called Mustafa's remarks "highly condemnable". Notably, Leader of Opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly and DMK MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin recently said, "Sanatana dharma, which divides people, should be eradicated."
