Twitch streamer Hasan Piker raises ₹5.6 cr for Palestine amid war

Hasan Piker, who livestreams videos on Twitch, has raised around ₹5.6 crore till now via a fundraising campaign for medical relief for Palestinians amid Israel-Hamas war. The Turkish-American streamer said around ₹1.5 crore was raised in less than 40 minutes. Earlier, a video showed him crying over an old clip of Israeli forces attacking mourners during a Palestinian-American journalist's funeral.
