Twitter bans 44,611 accounts in India promoting child porn in 1 month
Twitter banned 44,611 accounts in India for promoting child sexual exploitation and non-consensual nudity between September 26 and October 25. Twitter also took down 4,014 accounts for promoting terrorism in India. In its monthly report, the micro-blogging site said it processed 61 grievances which appealed for suspension of accounts and didn't overturn the suspension for any of them.
