Twitter blocks 'Hang Mike Pence' from trending after US Capitol riot

Twitter has blocked the phrase 'Hang Mike Pence' and other variations of it from trending on its platform after the US Capitol riot. "We want trends to promote healthy discussions...This means that at times, we may prevent certain content from trending," Twitter said. Earlier, a Reuters photographer had reported hearing rioters say they wanted to hang Pence.
