Twitter bug notifies users of being followed when unfollowed

Twitter is sending push notifications to some affected users informing them that they have been "followed back" when someone unfollows them. Describing the issue as a bug, a Twitter spokesperson told VICE that the microblogging platform is working to fix it. Several users have reportedly been complaining of the bug since early June.
