Twitter COO Anthony Noto resigns to join startup as CEO

Microblogging platform Twitter on Tuesday announced that its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Anthony Noto will be resigning from the company. Noto will join California-based online lending startup SoFi as its Chief Executive Officer and Director, effective March 1. Notably, Noto joined Twitter as CFO in July 2014 and has served as its COO since November 2016.
