Twitter ends contract of janitors who held strike outside its SF HQ

Twitter has terminated the contract of the striking union janitors who had been working at its headquarters in San Francisco. Members of the SEIU Local 87 Janitors went on strike today ahead of their union contract ending. Organisers claimed Twitter's new contractor has refused to rehire existing workers, which is required by San Francisco law.
