Twitter will delete inactive accounts starting December

Twitter is notifying its users that it will start removing accounts from December 11 that haven't been signed in for at least six months and the username will be up for grabs. The social media company said that the removal process "will happen over many months." The exercise aims to "present more accurate, credible information" that people can rely on.
