2 children's laureates pledge royalties to Sally Rooney after her UK sales halted

Ireland's children's laureate Chris Haughton and Wales's Nicola Davies have pledged their UK book royalties to Sally Rooney after Faber stopped supplying her books in Britain. Faber halted UK supplies as it cannot legally pass earnings to Rooney, who intended to donate proceeds to Palestine Action, proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the UK government in July 2025.
