Two months after Dalit man's murder, wife dies by suicide

(TW) Two months after G Praveen, a Dalit man, was allegedly killed by his brother-in-law and four others in a suspected caste killing, his wife Sharmila allegedly attempted suicide and died in Chennai on April 22. "Since Praveen's death, she was lifeless. We were trying to move on, but never did we think she'd end her life," said Praveen's mother.
