Two NASA aviators to chase August 12 eclipse at 50,000 feet

During the August 12 total solar eclipse visible across Europe and the Arctic, two NASA pilots flying a WB-57 aircraft at 50,000 feet will extend totality to nearly three minutes by following the shadow.
