Two new bent-toed Gecko species found by Mizoram University team

Professor HT Lalremsanga of Mizoram University and his team have discovered two new Bent-toed Gecko species during a research trip in J&K and Himachal Pradesh. Named 'Cyrtodactylus himachalensis' and 'Cyrtodactylus shivalikensis', the finds were confirmed through DNA and morphology studies. The discovery was published in the global journal Zootaxa.
