Two security researchers win $60,000 for hacking Amazon Echo

Two security researchers, Amat Cama and Richard Zhu, have won $60,000 in bug bounty for hacking an Amazon Echo Show 5 smart display device in a hacking competition. They found that it used an older version of Google's open-source browser Chromium. Using an "integer overflow" exploit, the duo gained "full control" of the device connected to a malicious Wi-Fi hotspot.
