Two women who claimed French President Macron's wife was born male acquitted

A French appeals court on Thursday overturned convictions against two women who had claimed that French President Emmanuel Macron's wife Brigitte used to be a man that reached the US. The court said they had made the mistake in "good faith". In September last year, a lower court had ordered the two to pay €8,000 in damages to Brigitte.
