Two workers rescued alive from Nepal tunnel after 9 days
Two workers, Sanjaya Shah and Kabir Maharjan, were pulled alive from the Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel in Nepal, nine days after August 26 flash floods. Rescued from 170 meters deep, authorities believe 30–40 more may be alive due to air pockets. The death toll has reached 1,259, with 5,053 still missing.
