Typhoon Mujigae hits China's south coast

A "red alert" emergency response was issued by Chinese authorities as Typhoon Mujigae made landfall in Guangdong Province on China's south coast on Sunday. With winds measuring 112 miles per hour, the typhoon caused flooding and destruction. No casualties have been reported yet, according to Chinese state news agency Xinhua. Flights and rail services were cancelled due to the typhoon.
