Typhoon-hit Philippines updates death toll to 375, injured to 500

The Philippines on Monday updated its death toll from last week's Typhoon Rai to 375, while the number of injured climbed to 500 and 56 others were missing. The death toll is likely to increase as several towns and villages remained out of reach due to downed communications and power outages. Typhoon Rai displaced nearly 4,90,000 people in the Philippines.
