U'khand BJP leader quits party over Ankita Bhandari case, says 'Ashamed of party'

Pauri District Panchayat Member Kiran Sharma resigned from BJP over the 2022 Ankita Bhandari murder case. Mentioning a VIP from party who has been accused of demanding sexual favours in the case, she said, "The people of my party are watching the spectacle like silent spectators and wishing birthday greetings to VIP." I feel ashamed of my party, she added.
