UAE approves Sputnik Light vaccine as COVID-19 booster shot

The UAE has approved the Sputnik Light vaccine as a universal COVID-19 booster shot. The Russian authorities said the vaccine can be administered as a booster shot six months after the second dose of any other vaccine currently used in the UAE. The Sputnik V vaccine was approved for use by the UAE in October this year.
