UAE denies claims of unfreezing $3 billion of Iran's funds

UAE dismissed reports claiming it unfroze $3 billion of Iran's funds amid negotiations with US to end the war. "These allegations are entirely false and unfounded...no frozen Iranian funds have been released, transferred or facilitated," UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. This comes after US Vice President JD Vance said Iran would not receive funds for "simply signing a deal".
