UAE phone alert says 'disregard warning' after missile threat alert

A technical malfunction led to UAE residents receiving false phone alerts warning them of a potential missile threat and telling them to find a safe place on Friday. A follow up message said, "Situation is currently safe...please disregard previous warning." UAE's Disaster Management Authority said "specialised teams immediately initiated necessary corrective procedures upon detecting the issue".
