UAE seeks police character certificates for Pakistanis' work visas

The UAE has now mandated Pakistani citizens migrating to the country for employment to obtain a character certificate from police along with their work visa. The new requirement follows reports of Pakistanis being involved in begging and other illegal activities in the UAE, Pakistani media reported. Reportedly, 30 Pakistani cities are now on UAE's visit visa ban list.
