UAE seizes ₹50-lakh-crore assets as it revokes residence permits of Iranians: Report

The UAE cancelled all types of residence permits issued to Iranians, including the 'Golden Visas' issued to UAE investors of Iranian-origin, Tehran Times reported. With this step, UAE has reportedly seized Iranian assets worth $530 billion (over ₹50 lakh crore). UAE's diplomatic advisor to the President, Anwar Gargash, has also sought reparations from Iran for damages inflicted on Gulf countries.
