UAE to build oil pipeline that bypasses Strait of Hormuz

UAE accelerated the construction of a new oil pipeline, expected to be completed by 2027, which will expand its capacity to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, the government's Abu Dhabi Media ​Office said. The pipeline will double the country's export capacity through port of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman. The existing pipeline can carry up to 1.8 million barrels/day.
