Uber, Ola remain banned in Goa, despite new cab policy

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured that cab aggregators like Ola and Uber will not be allowed in the state. This decision follows pressure from coastal MLAs and taxi operators. Despite issuing draft guidelines, the state plans to create a fair, local taxi system with equal fares. All stakeholders will be consulted before making final decisions.
