Uber, Pony.ai & Verne to launch Europe's first robotaxi service

Uber has partnered with Pony.ai and autonomous vehicle startup Verne to roll out the first commercial robotaxi service in Europe, starting in Croatia's Zagreb. The companies announced on Thursday that Pony.ai will supply autonomous driving system and robotaxi called Arcfox Alpha T5, while Verne will own and operate the fleet. Uber will integrate the service into its global ride-hailing ​platform.
