Uber appoints Indian-origin Balaji Krishnamurthy as CFO

Uber Technologies has appointed Indian-origin Balaji Krishnamurthy as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who will assume his new role from February 16. The 41-year-old has held several leadership roles since joining the company in 2019, serving as the Vice-President of strategic finance most recently. India is Uber's third-largest market, with nearly 11.6 billion km logged on the platform.
