Uber asked to pay ₹77 cr to woman who was molested by driver in US

A US jury ordered Uber to pay $8.5 million (₹77 crore) after finding it liable in a lawsuit by a woman who said she was sexually assaulted by a driver. The victim, who was intoxicated at the time of crime, said the driver asked her harassing questions. Uber said it should not be held liable for criminal conduct by drivers.
