Uber buys startup Mighty AI to advance work on self-driving cars

Uber has acquired Seattle-based AI startup Mighty AI, which specialises in computer vision to help understand the surroundings of self-driving vehicles, for an undisclosed amount to advance work on self-driving cars. Uber will acquire the startup's intellectual property, tooling, tech talent and labelling community. Founded in 2014, Mighty AI has raised about $27 million, as per Crunchbase.
