Uber fires 15% of Postmates' employees months after acquiring it

Uber has fired around 185 employees from its Postmates division, about 15% of Postmates' total workforce. Most of the executive team at Postmates, including Founder and CEO Bastian Lehmann will leave the company, The New York Times reported. Uber had acquired the food delivery startup Postmates for $2.65 billion in 2020.
