Uber fires 3,000 more employees, to shut 45 offices around the world
Uber is firing 3,000 more employees less than two weeks after an initial round of firings. In an email to employees, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said Uber would also be shutting 45 offices around the world and the company is considering cuts to its other businesses too. The latest firings come after Uber's May 6 announcement to cut 3,700 jobs.
