Uber launches in-app chat feature for users in India

US-based cab-hailing startup Uber launched in-app messaging feature along with multi-destination rides for users in India. The feature aims to help riders and drivers get in touch without incurring call charges or sharing their contact numbers. The in-app chat for both iOS and Android has been updated and also supports a number of local languages.
