Uber rolls out in-app ride video recording, ambulance feature in India

Uber India has introduced the 'Record My Ride' feature, enabling drivers to securely record encrypted in-cab video, alongside audio recording, women rider preference, and seatbelt reminders, to enhance ride safety and accountability. The company also integrated the ambulance assistance into the app. "As expectations evolve, we hope the industry will rise up to meet them," an executive said.
