Uber sues New York City over driver protection rules

Uber on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against US' New York City challenging new rules protecting drivers from "wrongful deactivations". Uber said the law would force it to keep drivers it does not want on the platform and shield drivers who show dangerous or inappropriate behaviour. Uber in the lawsuit objected to giving a 14-day notice to drivers before deactivations.
