Uber to acquire chauffeur ​service startup Blacklane

Uber agreed to acquire Berlin-based chauffeur ​service startup Blacklane as part ‌of its bid to get into premium and executive travel, the ​companies said on Monday. The acquisition is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and is expected to close by 2026-end, as per an official statement. The ​deal ⁠will reportedly expand Uber's presence ​in pre-booked, high-end transport services market.
