Uber to allow users to book electric air taxi that flies at 322 km/h in Dubai

Uber is integrating electric air taxis developed by US-based Joby Aviation into its app, letting people book flights alongside regular rides. The first service is expected later in 2026 in Dubai, with expansion planned to New York, Los Angeles, the UK, and Japan. The all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft can carry four passengers and fly at 322 km/h.
