World's fastest internet speed of 178 Tbps achieved by UCL engineers

Engineers from University College London (UCL) have achieved world's fastest internet speed of 178 Tbps. "At this speed it would be possible to download the entire Netflix library in less than a second," UCL said. The record was achieved by transmitting data through a much wider range of colours of light, or wavelengths, than is typically used in optical fibre.
