Udaan, Emergent top India's ₹3,171-cr startup funding haul this week

Indian startups raised $328.5 million (nearly ₹3,171 crore) across 16 funding rounds in the week ended July 16, marking a 48% jump from $222.7 million a week earlier despite fewer deals. Udaan led with a $160 million raise, followed by Emergent's $130 million. Grovyo, SwitchOn and E3 Electric also secured fresh funding during the week.
