Uddhav had no power to remove Shinde as Shiv Sena leader: Speaker

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, while announcing his verdict on the disqualification petitions of the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, said Uddhav Thackeray had no power to remove Eknath Shinde as party leader. Rahul Narwekar on Wednesday declared Eknath Shinde's faction as the real Shiv Sena, saying that when the rival factions emerged, his faction had 37 of 55 MLAs.
