Ugandan woman isolated in Bengaluru tests negative for Ebola

A 28-year-old Ugandan woman, isolated at Bengaluru's Epidemic Diseases Hospital after showing Ebola-like symptoms at Kempegowda International Airport, has tested negative for the virus. The Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday that no Ebola case has been confirmed in India. The traveller, who was kept under observation as a precautionary measure, remains stable, the ministry added.
