UGC asks universities to participate in 'Fit India Movement'

University Grants Commission (UGC) on Friday issued a notice to affiliated universities and colleges seeking their participation in the 'Fit India Movement' on August 29. UGC asked the students and teachers to attempt to walk 10,000 steps and follow it up in their daily routine. 'Fit India Movement' will be launched by PM Narendra Modi on August 29 from Delhi.
