Ujjain mosque committee backs partial removal of Shahi Masjid for road widening after clashes

A day after clashes and stone-pelting, the Ujjain mosque committee has backed the partial removal of Shahi Masjid for road widening work. Committee member Fahim Sikandar said the Muslim community respects the road-widening project being undertaken ahead of the 2028 Simhastha Kumbh Mela. The work to remove a portion of the Shahi Masjid is set to resume today.
