UK asset manager makes over $1 bn from Bitcoin in 5 months: Report

UK-based asset manager Ruffer claims it made over $1.1 billion in profit by investing in Bitcoin within five months. The company invested around $600 million in November 2020 when Bitcoin was trading below $20,000, investment director Hamish Baillie told The Sunday Times. It sold its Bitcoin as young people won't spend time trading now that lockdowns are ending, Baillie added.
