UK deploys troops in eastern Europe in response to Russia's Ukraine invasion

The UK's Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force have been deployed to bolster NATO's eastern front in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the British Defence Ministry said on Saturday. "Alongside our NATO Allies, these deployments constitute a credible deterrent to stop Russian aggression threatening the territorial sovereignty of member states," said UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace.
