British telecom giant Virgin Media O2 has launched 'Daisy', an AI chatbot designed to mimic the conversational style of a wise and witty grandmother. Daisy answers calls in real-time and indulges with scammers to waste their time and resources. The chatbot has a dedicated phone number strategically added to scammers' contact lists by O2, enabling it to engage with fraudsters.
