UK firm to build Southeast Asia’s first ever tidal power plant

Energies PH and Inyanga Marine Energy Group will build Southeast Asia's first tidal power plant in Capul Island. The 1MW project will deploy in late 2025 using HydroWing tidal stream turbines connected to the electrical network. The innovative technology will replace the current 750 kW diesel power plant, providing renewable energy to the off-grid island.
