UK flagged flaws in fuel switch actuators on Boeing 787s weeks before Air India crash

UK's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had issued a safety notice flagging potential flaws in the fuel switch actuators on Boeing 787 aircraft, under four weeks before a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed in Ahmedabad. CAA's notice was based on FAA's directive on the same issue. India's AAIB's preliminary report on the Air India crash has also flagged fuel control switches.
