UK govt to inquire into sexual abuse of children by grooming gangs

UK government on Thursday announced new local inquiries into the sexual exploitation of children by grooming gangs. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said that the government will also undertake a “rapid” review of the extent of child sexual exploitation in the country. This comes after billionaire Elon Musk criticised UK PM Keir Starmer and called for his resignation over the scandal.
