UK-Indian student Anoushka Kale elected Cambridge Union President

Anoushka Kale, a 20-year-old British Indian student, has been elected president of the Cambridge Union Society for the Easter term in an uncontested race. She will be the Union's first female president since last Easter term. Studying English Literature at Sidney Sussex College, Kale is among the few women of South Asian heritage to hold this prestigious role.
