UK intercepts Russian plane near aircraft carrier in Norwegian Sea

UK F-35 fighter jets intercepted a Russian maritime patrol aircraft in the Norwegian Sea after it "repeatedly approached" the HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier, the Ministry of Defence said. The Russian Bear-F plane was escorted away after it passed "unnecessarily close" to the aircraft carrier and dropped 10 sonobuoys into the water, it added, calling it "unsafe and unprofessional".
